Lora Makes Things
My Work
Over the years, my creative endeavors have found their home near the intersection of film photography, fiber arts, and paper crafts. These multiple mediums help me explore different perspectives on the feelings of house/home, and all of the small islands of privacy we carve out in the public world.
But who is Lora?
Lora Elliott is a nerdy local government employee and compulsive crafter living among the wheat fields of Eastern Oregon in a town called Pendleton. Crafting and art have been present in her life as long as she can remember, though she found her creative footing while serving in AmeriCorps the years after she graduated from Colorado State University in 2015.
You’ll often find her working on some project at her beloved local café, or taking a drive on a back road somewhere. She will probably have a terrible joke at the ready if you ask.
Come see what I’m up to!
